Richard started his golf career here at MMGC in 1996 as an Assistant Golf Professional. In 2002 Richard was promoted to the position of Head Golf Professional and has continued to this day.
Richard is a Graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program at Lethbridge College. Richard has always had a passion for teaching the game and has continued to educate himself attending various PGA conferences earning the CPGA level II Certification.
Richard is a very experienced Club Fitter and is a member of the exclusive Henry-Griffitts Fitting and Teaching Certification program. Richard has used this base knowledge and continues to attend and learn from Manufacturers such as Ping, Taylor Made, Titleist, and Callaway.

Born and Raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. Randy grew up playing Hockey, Golf, Football, and Baseball. He started playing golf and caddying at the early age of twelve and that is where Randy’s love of the game developed. Randy’s love of sport, led him to coaching various sports and developing people.
Randy believes anyone with a desire to learn, can and will improve on their golf game, with proven methods of teaching.

Dorothy Schultz

A second-generation Golf Professional Dorothy started her career at The Mandarin Golf &CC in Markham Ontario. After working at numerous courses in Ontario she moved to Red Deer as the Head Professional at the River Bend Golf Course. Her last position before coming to McKenzie Meadows was Head Teaching Professional at Priddis Greens G&CC.
Dorothy brings a wealth of experience, a strong playing and coaching background and has a passion for growing the game. In the off season you can find her at the ski hill and travelling South to squeeze in some rounds under the sun.

Brad Gagne

Brad has been Teaching golf to players of all skill levels for 20 years. He was born in Ottawa and got his start in golf as teenager at the Evergreen Golf Club, in Westport. After Graduating from high school, Brad decided to attend Niagara College and pursue a career in Golf. In 2006 while working at the Canadian Golf and Country Club in Ottawa, he passed his PAT’s. In 2007 he moved to Okotoks and spent 4 years working at Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club, where he earned his Class A status. After 9 years as the Associate Golf Professional at McKenzie.

Dawne Kortgaard, LPGA
L.P.G.A. Teaching Professional
Dawne was born in Calgary and grew up playing golf at Canyon Meadows Golf club. Dawne graduated with a BS degree from Lamar University in Texas and then moved to Palm Springs where she turned professional in 1982. After competing on various professional tours, she worked in the golf industry as a club fitter, teacher and retail manager. Her first love is teaching, and she enjoys helping players of all ages. Dawne’s teaching philosophy is called “Sensible Golf Concepts” and brings a very simple and fun approach to all of her lessons. Dawne believes that the key to quick swing improvement is “not only understanding what you are doing, but WHY you are doing it”.
